If you are familiar with the addiction treatment world, you have probably heard the saying “once an addict, always an addict”. I believe this saying to be true on one level and on another level, to be missing something huge: at your core, you are not an addict, but a being. In fact, at your core, you are not any label, but a being. Always a Being was born here.
As a Recovery Coach I guide my clients into the question, “Who are you, really?” The answer to this question is the backbone to possibility and potential.
True to my Jersey roots, I take a tough love, no-nonsense approach to coaching and recovery. I have been told by complete strangers that I have an old soul and by my clients that I make them feel safe. I will not let you drown.
I work with people looking to be transformed. They deeply want change in their lives and are ready to make their dream of recovery their reality. They long to be part of a tribe of people that will accept them just as they are and share the same value of living a recovered life.
I worked hard at building a life for myself after I recovered from my eating disorder, and I feel that it is my duty and purpose to support and hold you accountable in doing the same. If you cannot enjoy a slice of pizza, chocolate cake, or a burrito every once in a while, then there is deeper diving to be done. You do not have to be alone on this journey.
